Originally built by a puzzle fanatic named Gildru, Outland Stronghold has passed ownership again and again throughout the years. Some found it dreary, some disliked the smell, and others just didn't enjoy having to solve three puzzles just to get the key to the bathroom. The fortress stands four stories tall and is loaded with wall-to-wall puzzles, traps and secrets. In recent years, it's had trouble with insect infestations. Once the Illt left the Curator's body, it took residence here.
Castle Crashers[]
The heroes stormed the fortress, looking for the Illt. What they found instead were far too many puzzles! Nearly every room of this tall tower had something to solve, whether it was flipping switches, mismatching colours, or thinking backwards. The first three floors also had minibosses to defeat, though only Aggrogant and Doppel were necessary. The heroes also encountered small creatures called Illtings, spawned by the Illt. When the heroes finally reached the fourth floor, they found the Illt waiting for them. The Illt greeted them with a list of favours they had unknowingly been doing for it, and when the heroes refused to join forces with the Illt, it attacked. The battle lasted for three phases, with the Illt growing stronger each time. The heroes eventually defeated the Illt, causing it to dissolve into the floor- or so they thought.

Reading: Exchequte shares its wood-based weakness with Hack-in-the-Box, but it's much more powerful. Its Atmosurge attack deals damage each turn to anyone wielding conductive weapons or armor! On top of that, it can inflicting poison, freezing and burns.
